I just wanted to show off my beads of courage. I get a bead each time I get a poke, scan, treatment, procedure, etc, etc, etc... there are far too many etceteras and far too many beads but they are pretty and fun to play with. They remind me what a brave boy I am.
There are some new movies of me on youtube check them out:

Wow, Eli - what a testament to your strength and bravery - so many beads! We send you a kiss and hug for each one! Love, Dylan and family
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea- beads of courage. I really enjoyed Eli's singing on youtube. I came across your blog because I have a google alert set for "crainiopharyngioma" and it linked me to your blog. My son is 23 and a cranio survivor, diagnosed at age 15. He will graduate from college next month. He has done well dealing with all the challenges this tumor brings. Are you familiar with craniopharyngioma@braintrust.org ? It has been a wonderful support group for us and enabled us to meet others dealing with cranio issues. Thanks for sharing the story and pictures of your beautiful son.

Thank you so much for your comment Patty. It is so wonderful to hear about the success stories of other children diagnosed with cranios....there are so few cases. We have stumbled upon the support group but were unsure about joining. Thanks for the info, we will definitely sign up.
ReplyDeleteThank you again for contributing and I hope we see more of you.
